ummm, first, yes; efficient, probably; safe?  ummm....
I'd love to get it too, but I see at least one HUGE problem with it already.  doesn't it make it really easy to crash your calculator, killing HAL and everything else?  after all, I can crash an 83/6 with a line of ASM code.  Unless you're using a debugger in there as well, I can see a lot of frustrated calc users waiting to get back home to reinstall HAL and find out what went wrong.
