Run the self-test (In the MODE menu, press ALPHA-S and then hit enter)  After
the self test activates, press NOTHING until the counter gets past 0.  After
it gets past 0, press [ON] 5 times VERY slowly (about 15-20 seconds of
interval) and the self-test will end and the screen will say "Memory Cleared,
Defaults Set".  You will lose your mem, but at least u don't have to take out
the batteries.
