yes it is possible, but be sure to do it right. One problem in the jacks on
the ends are those non-smooth barrels that make wierd connections in the
link port. I made one, but it gave errors about 1/2 the time. I liked it
though cause it was 5-10 feet long!

No on the infrared link part :(
