Compressing on the calc is a difficult thingy... For instance, if you want to use LZW (better said LZ77), you have to build up a table somewhere in memory - i.e. you'd need free memory. Same for Huffman.
And let's say you have compressed e.g. Daedalus to 9KB. From where do you take the free memory to decompress it too?
