The reasoning behind password protection is to keep people from running 
the games or other programs on the calc... If someone _REALLY_ wanted to 
screw another's calc, then yes, they _could_ just remove the batteries!  
Password protection is to keep people from playing the games without the 
calc's owner's permission.  We assume that they WANT to play the games, 
not screw the other's calc.

One thing I hate is when another person uses my calc without my 
permission, even though they don't have the intention to mess it up!  I 
once had someone just grab my calc, turn it on, delete an equation in the 
grapher, and start trying to graph something else!  I happened to have 
_WANTED_ to keep that equation!  That kind of messing with the calc is 
what password protection is trying to prevent!

Oh, and if they didn't know jack about the calculator, how the heck would 
they know to pull the batteries?!?
