Allright. 1) I did not beta test Usgard 2) I Tried OS85 3) I Tried CShell 4)
I LOVE Usgard.
Usgard is probably the best thing to happen to the 85 community since ZShell
itself! It has brought gaming in math class to new hights, thanks to it's
whup ass library features. To all who can't seem to understand libraries...
Think of it as a tree. You've got the Shell at the top. You need it to run
any other program no matter what. Then each library is a branch. If you cut
off the branch you can't use any of the twigs on the limb. _but_ if the
branch is obscuring your view from the window (I know, I'm going heavy on the
metaphors, thats suposed to be your memory.) just lop it off, You don't
really want to use those twigs anyway. And if you do eventually, it'll grow
right back. But if you have a BIG window (expander, godIhopeIwintheraffle,)
you can have all off the goodies. It's like picking apples from a tree (Lame
pun intended).
So I think this is a blessing, not a Curse. Way to go Andi, Jimmy, Will, Mel,
and the beta testers, for revolutionizing Z80 gamming (Isn't THAT an
Oxymoron. Sorry martin)!!
