I do find it strange to think that TI knowingly decided to not advertise
ZShell when it could greatly affect students decisions between TI and
other calculators. It's deffinate that all companies are out for
money, no matter what the cercomstances. They may use the explanation
that the TI calculator is to be used strictly as a calulator, or that
ZShell is not official, but why do they fight ZShell so much? You
almost wonder if they've got something up there sleave. I mean, do you
think that TI would have designed the TI-85 with a back door by
accedent? Or were they planning on using that until someone discovered
it. I don't know. They could be selling many many more calculators
than before if they integrated ZShell. By the way, putting up posters
doesn't solve much of a problem if all the teachers are against the
TI-85. It would only make you look like a geek.
