  Of course, then you need two connectors.  Still, it might be worth 
looking into.  But shouldn't RS-422 have it's own method for flow 
control?


  How do you use the actual I/O pins?  Inside Macintosh & "The Guide to 
Macintosh Family Hardware" both yield nothing on low-level serial port 
access.  There's info about the serial port hardware, & about the control 
software, but nothing else (that I could see).  Did you find something I 
didn't?
