Re: LZ: Re: $4 serial link prob
Look guys. i'll tell you the whole story. I'm only 15 and YES i know many
of you aren't much older or are he same age. But, i've never really gotten
into the whole electronics thing(although, if i wanted to, i could talk
with my dad). I've never had much chance.
I got my calc for christmas. and now, i don't take it to school because i
really don't need it and don't want it stolen. i'm getting by with my ti30x:)
now, i know that if my parents ever knoew that i had opened that thing up,
their heads'd pop off and that's why i haven't opened it up.
so, to conclude this string, we've all made some absurd generalizations
and, i think that ddreamer just said the most truthful thing. exept that i
then later recieved my grlk for my birthday so, i never really paid much
for this whole thing but, anyway, about those generalizations. i was
bashing the $4 link when i've never really seen one or tried to make one.
maybe someday i will, who knows. and crusader at mo dot com didn't really
know my electronics background knowledge. it's like two computer artists
(one owning a mac and the other an ibm) arguing about whos pc is better
and the ibm guy knows the mac is better(the mac is your $4 link, the ibm
ti's link) but keeps trying to point out all these good things: more
software, cheaper, more technical help etc. and then he has to surrender
and, that's what i'm doing, surrendering. now, PLEASE DON'T RUB MY NOSE IN
IT!!! i already know how much of a fool i have made out of myself! don't
make it any worse please? thanks for reading!
