No. It will use more power. The power drain of a processor is directly
equiv to its speed. What happens is that whenever a bit changes from 0
to 1 or 1 to 0, it applies the opposite voltage to that bit register.
This causes a little current to be used up and a little heat to be given
off. If you make the calc go 2x as fast, its going to use about 2x as
much batteries.
