if it is an electrolytic capacitor then yes it does matter.. if enough =
current (wich isnt much) goes through it, it will explode or at least =
corrupt and melt down eitherway it will mess things up. if it is like a =
disk, then no it doesnt matter which way it goes.
this is almost directly quoted from my electronics teacher so it is most =
probably right.
