Give me a break. That wasn't a flame, and this isn't either, but this
list should be for stuff that is remotely possible! Start a new Wild
ZShell Ideas list if you want. Think for a moment about the complexities
of ethernet and networking protocols. Ethernet cards are pretty complex
devices, and have quite a bit of technology in them. It is not like a
simple serial connection by any means. In addition to the adaptor, the
programming for the protocols would be far beyond the scope of the 85's
capability. The networking layers on most operating systems take up
several MEGABYTES! It simply would not be possible, and would be, I'm
sorry to say, rather illogical and useless. If you really want something
like this, get a computer with and ethernet card and write something to
shove a telnet session out a serial port over the link to your
calculator. Approximate cost = several thousand. No thanks.
