Because I don't carry a watch every day, but I carry my calc every minute.

why would you possibly need a clock app anyway?  I mean, if you're trying to time an app correctly, yeah it'd be nice if the clac had an internal clock, but there are ways around that...  If you need a clock that badly, why not just buy a $2 watch?
