When I saw the back of the 83- one day, there was a giant
chip with the 'T84C00AM-8' printed on. Here is the site
of zilog.com where the z80 'Z84C00' is described.

So I thought that must have been the processor. I seached
on google and I found out that the 'T84C00AM-8' is a
cloned chip from toshiba. When you look at an original
z80, it's quite a big chip, but all the chips in the 83-
are too small to possibly be an original chip of zilog.
