Hmmm, David Phillips started this whole 83- thingy, would that make him
Hays?
(No, I'm not serious, so don't send even more flames to the list)

As far as I care 83 means any 83. I think this is more clear (and shorter)
than the
ridiculous 83(+(SE)) notation. It is just a way of showing you have one
version of
the thing in mind.

Anyway, who cares if Hays has left the scene, we are obviously perfectly
able to
start our own flame wars.
