If the cable was inserted all the way, that click you hear is the neck
near
the tip locking in. If you have an MRI machine, however, you can point
the
linkport at the machine, epoxy the calc to the wall, and fire it up.
Those
MRI magnets can get oxygen bottles going fast enough to go through the
solid metal casing of the machine!
