That's the stack area. It's quite safe, I don't think the TIOS would be
able to reach this address, unless there is a bug.
To the question if it works: yes, at least on my TI-83 (ROM 1.07, 3 years
old). However, I don't remember testing it with on-key interrupt, only
the timer. I shut it down before turning of the calculator.
