I myself migrated from rom 1.12 back to rom 1.10, and have had no problems 
since. Others have had the problem with 1.10, and have had no problems after migrating to a higher rom version.

It can't be a bit-error during transfer, because the calc would not except that
(the ROM-signing thing)
