yes the do compile with different equates but asm.bat does thast for you!

you yoiu have an 8xp file that will work on the 83+ other wise the 83p filke 
wont will work on the 83+

for example:
you cant send ION progs from and 83 to the 83+ (or vice versa) through the 
cabel link between 2 calcs
