Is it possible to send other 'requests' as well? (eg: is it possible to use 'server' side techniques?)

TiNuke sends an implicit backup request then cuts the link, the linked TI-83 will automatically reset as if the backup failed.

Is it possible to change the memory of a linked TI83 in ASM? I don't know exactly *what* TINuke does, but it looks like it can activate some rom call (for the reset) via the link cable... Could anybody explain me how TINuke works?
