I got an idea... Does a 8x8 matrix take less space than a sprite? If so, why don't they just do 1's, and 0's for the pixels on and off. Also, for tile based games like zelda, these matrix's could be used to express what tile to bring up ex..... 0=open plain 1=grass 2=rock etc..... Would this be more easier to program than all the levels by hand? Just my thoughts.......Jeff
