I don't know what the differences are (I haven't heard of any), but I good 
guess might be that the port work in the same way as the new TI83s. If you 
need the codes one way of getting them is to make a ROM dump and search for 
function that write to the link port. So if you hace a 19.006 calc yourself 
that should be fairly easy.
