I don't mean to be speaking for Dines or anything, this is just what I think
about the new shell(s)(ASH 3.1 and 4)
I don't think  that the reason he is making another shell is just  to make it
compatible with other shells.  That would be a complete waste (well, not
completely) if it only did that.  Many more commands will be able to be used
with these new versions of ASH, ALL of which will make programming asm
easier/better and thus making it possible to make (more) very good
programs/games.  I don't think his effort should be moved over to games
because I can't wait for these new shells to come out, so stop discouraging
him, please.
