Re: A82: Emulation
Yeah, the emu may be fast, but the reaction time when pressing a key (such as in Zelda 82 or a lot of other programs- or even in the actual TIOS) is unbearable... It needs to be fixed so it will react more like a normal calc. TI8xemu doesn't have that problem (AFAIK), which is why I still recommend TI8xemu for everything besides linking. BTW, TI8xemu runs WAY too fast for me on my P100 unless I mess with the settings.. CalcEM runs at 100% without any tweaking at
that setting on a P100 and kinda slow on my 486/66, which is why I say that it is a slower emulation. BTW (note to Kouri/Evil Sam), I haven't tried out the calc-to-ti8xemu linking lately because I don't currently have a calc -- I'm working off of memory.

When I had implemented it enough to run, I found it running the cursor blinking very fast, just like in TI8xEmu. As I didn't believe this engine to be much faster, I looked around and found out that when it reaches a HALT, it doesn't wait for an interrupt, it issues one immediately. This will make the calculator very fast when it's idle...
