When the user presses 2ND-LINK Ash 3.0 updates the secondary cursor flags,
but the primary keyboard buffer. To make sure that pressing 2ND-LINK works
every time you need to update the secondary keyboard buffer. However since
no one seems to have noticed the bug (I did not untill a few days ago), it
probably only occurs very seldom.
