Well, I have a ROM 9.0 TI-82.  I bought it Nov 93, just a few months 
after it came out.
So, it wasn't a preliminary/pre-release version.  It's the real deal.

BTW:  I would dump the ROM, but I don't have the necessary link cable.  
Since I have a
Mac, I need TI's cable to do this. :(
