in response to the mac and asm, my friend (zico kolter) and i are
attempting to port TASM to the mac.. unfortunately the author has been
rather lazy about sending the source out :) hopefully by the end of the
year we will have a pre-release version out.. eventually we may even port
the Ti-85 emulator as well, in which case we could go about designing an
entire IDE. in the meantime i believe the only option mac users have is
CAZ, which is mostly compatible with TASM, and i believe new work is being
done on it which will improve it greatly. unfortunately i've been having a
hell of a time at school lately, and i've simply got too much work to
devote much time to this right now.

ps, i'm also attempting to design a mac serial link, so if anyone has any
suggestions or help, please email me! currently i have a skeleton of a
driver program i've downloaded off of ticalc.org, and also i have
information about emulating rs-232 on a mac's serial port.. if you have the
ability to help out, please do so!
