If it's not a turboed calc, then it's the display cable which got loosened or broken.  You'd have to open it up and fix it (VERY difficult), or send it back to TI if it's under warranty.  Of course, if you've opened the calc before, the warranty's void, and they can tell due to the way that they put the screws in.
