Bomber for Fargo II in Beta Testing
Posted on 11 August 1998, 02:09 GMT
Christophe Fondacci is currently developing Bomber for Fargo II, a clone of Bomberman. Currently there are seven people on the beta testing team. If you would like to join the team, send an e-mail to Christophe. Currently there is only a two-player battle game, but a one-player game will be added soon. Bomber features grayscale graphics, two kinds of bonuses, custom levels, custom sprites (for walls and bricks), and one monster. The game should be released to the public sometime in September.

This looks really cool. I hope to see this program out shortly;-) The only thing I'm bummed about is that Fargo II hasn't been ported to the 92+ yet. Chris, if your reading this please consider making 92+ ASM version. It shouldn't require to much work(from what I've read).

Note that there is not only 1 monster, but one kind of monster. This means that you can have 20 monsters at the screen at the same time (But then it would be very slow), but they will all got the same sprites and have the same caracteristic !
P.S. : the current graphist is NOAH S ZOSCHKE (nzoschke@juno.com)
Mikkel Skovgaard will bring his help (on gfx) as soon as I can
