1. Installation
Race 3 Turbo requires 1.4 KB of RAM and a TI-83, TI-83+, TI-83+SE, TI-84+, or TI-84+SE graphing calculator. Optionally, you may have Doors CS v4.0 or higher on your calculator. To install, send Race3.83p to your TI-83 or Race3.8xp to your TI-83+SE, TI-84+, or TI-84+SE. To run Race 3 Turbo from the homescreen, press [PRGM], choose RACE3, press [ENTER] to paste prgmRACE3 to the homescreen, and then press [ENTER] to run the program. From Doors CS, simple click the Race3 icon.
2. Playing Race 3 Turbo
When you run Race 3 Turbo, you will be taken to the main menu.
Use the arrows to select Claasic or Advanced mode, Help, or Quit. Classic mode is a typical racing game: use the left and right arrows to avoid the walls as you drive down an increasingly narrow road. IF you reach the end of the road without crashing, you win.
In Advanced mode you control two cars. Car 1 is controlled with [Y=] and [WINDOW], while car 2 uses [TRACE] and [GRAPH]. The two roads merge and separate, and you must avoid crashing into the walls until the end of the narrowing road.
You can end any game and return to the main menu by pressing [2nd] at any time. To view the in-game help file, select 3. Help from the main menu.
