1.About this program

This program is a text viewer that can use Japanese Hiragana, Katakana and some Kanji (Of course, can use the alphabet, the number and some symbols). It can show or hide Carriage return and EOF, and it supports scroll bar. A data file can be created by the converting script (Refer to "4.Create your file").

2.Installation

Transfer "jtviewer.8xp" and data file(s) to your calculator. "jtmane.8xp", "jtmanj.8xp" and "jtstudy.8xp" are sample data files. A data file must be in RAM.

3.How to use

Run "JTVIEWER" with Ion or Ion compatible OS. Press [ Y= ] and select a data file (if data is not in RAM, the file selection screen will not be displayed).

7.1.Character List

Character number 0 is EOF and number 13 is Carriage return. You can change these forms using Omnicalc Font Editor. Edit "fontset.8xfont" and save it (File->Save As ASM->Left aligned) as "fontset.z80", and assemble it with "jtviewer.z80".

7.2.Meaning of Kanji

Kanji has a lot of pronunciations and meaning, so it is one example. (On'yomi is Chinese reading, Kun'yomi is Japanese reading. Refer to this document.)
