I really would like to have a program for TI Nspire (non CAS) that can put a certain number to radical form. This is a CAS feature but it's very useful and I can't install CAS.
example: the solution to [square root]12 is given as 2[square root]3
Thank you so much if any of you know a program that does this or can do it! :)

A program that can factor in the form of x^2y^2+xy+x^2, x^2+xy+y^2, would be very helpful at the moment.

Hi,
I sometimes have to deal with transcendental equations/functions and I don't know how to solve them in my TI-84 plus. Is there a program for this already?
Or one that could solve an equation like for example:
A = (2*B) + e^34 / T
And the program would list the variables:
A:
B:
T:
and the user could choose any 2 variables and solve for the third?
Thanks, and sorry if this already exists. Been looking for a while now but no dice.

I would like someone to make a math program that shows the work involved with getting the answer to certain problems. I do know this would be an easy program to make, although, I need to know how to start it and if someone could show me how to start it, I could make one and then put it on the site. I have a TI-83 or TI-83 Plus. So if you have any ideas, contact me asap.

You mean you want a program that states how to do the question, or gives the formula, but doesn't give the answer? Or do you want it to give the answer too? For example, if you made a 16k App, you could make it be able to use external "library" programs, and so add, for example, one library for each chapter in your math. In this way you would only have current info. Also it could use the formula given, and have you input wildcards and known variables. Oh well, just my ideas :)
