what programming language(s) do you know (for calc, computer, etc.), to what extent do you know it/them, and what calculator do you program mainly for?

hi. im a basic programmer, and i was wondering if it was possible to be able to run two seprerate things at one time. such as shooting, and then moving while the bullet is still going. any help would be appreciated!!

Computers/calculators can't run two things at the same time. The trick is running a little bit of each process close enough together to make it seem like it does.

The kind of thing you'd want would generally be like this:

Draw screen
Get input
Change characters x and y positions (if moving)
Setup any new shots fired
Change x or y positions of shots already fired
Check collisions
Go back to beginning

man, you really have high expectations!! you cant put all you want in a game!! you have to select, pick the best things, and the thing you say are unnessecary.

and why not a volleyball game like volleymon if anybody know that !! it's a 2d game and you move a monster from ight to left and try to keep the ball in the air !!
