Game for thought

Hello, I am donoftime and am new to ticalc. in my travels i have found great games, many resembling SNES games of my past. recently i realized that a game was missing, Fire Emblem. Now i could try to make a basic version, but i'm not that great, and asm is soooo much better. i would learn how to use asm myself, but i have a mac, which has no emulator, assembler, or totourials. So if anyone can make this game, or show me how to make, or make it and keep me updated on it, then i would be eternally greatful.

I have a game idea!

I have one, do you guys think it'd be possible to make one of One Piece grand Battle swan coliseum? I have sprites so E-mail me if your willing to do it. (I did not rip these, or make them, so please give credit):
I know they're not grayscale, so If you want, I can do that and send via e-mail.
and the game can be found by simply typing it in on google or gamefaqs.
the rom can be found in the URL.
I'm not very good at programming but the game only uses the D-Pad and two buttons, so I'm sure it's not hard to a good programmer.
I'm a big fan of one piece, and I like this game (very similar to smash bros.) so, I'd appreciate it.

I have a game idea, maybe someone could make a port of the One Piece grand battle coliseum wonderswan game. I have sprites you can use, just e-mail me for them, I even grayscaled them (I didn't rip the sprites, so give credit where credit is due).
You can find the game in the URL, so you can see how it plays, it only uses two buttons and the D-Pad so for someone with experience it shouldn't be hard.
If anyone'd like to make it let me know, I'd really appreciate it.

new game

I have just started a game called Stealth. It is like a stealth action game done in BASIC where the point of the game is to not get caught by guards while sneaking through the levels
it will also be public, so anybody will be able to use the source for their own stuff.
so far i only have the advanced menu done, and i still need to learn to make levels using matrices, effective programming that doesnt slow it down, A.I., and how to fit it all under one program instead of multiple ones.
if you can help me with any of the above i mentioned, either reply here or send me an email at floodkiller322@yahoo.com
any help that is given to me will be put in the scrolling credits. also, if you want to design levels in the game, make an 8X16 matrix with the following code
0= blank
1= vertical wall
2= corner wall
3= horizontal wall
make sure all the sides are covered and there is a space on the left for an entrance and a space on the right for an exit
also, use U for guard looking up, D for guard looking down, L for guard looking left, and R for guard looking right.
all people who made a level that gets in final version will get in credits.
when my final version comes out, anybody is free to make it into assembly and use their own name as long as they credit all the people in the credits.

There is a game app for the ti84 se, hicktest, that is written in basic. It is very glitchy. So I am wondering how i can unlock it to fix it, also how do I make a basic program into an app.

Hey i heard that there is a program that teaches you step-by-step instructions on how to make games and i was wondering if anyone has that. I would prefer if someone could post the directions on making the program so if you happen to find that that would be great. Thanks

Hello. I am currently working on a Final Fantasy style game in BASIC and I need help with making my characters(created using matrices) move around the screen when arrow keys are pressed. If someone could give me a sample code for how this works, it would be very helpful. Thanks.

My new game idea
|
SilverCalcKnight
|
I am working on a strategy game based on Advance Wars/Command and Conquer. It is called Black Vs. White and the teams have different strategies, such as Black being more heavy-weapon centered while White is more concerned with stealth and strength in numbers. I will use different on-screen letters to show where the units are, like A for Unit One, B for two, and such. Enemies will be shown by N-Z. The battles will be RPG-esque, so that a Ninja will most certainly (but not always) defeat a rifleman. Any ideas or help will be appreciated.
And, yes, it will be in BASIC. I know a lot of BASIC, but I could use some help with designing units and storylines.

Settlers of Catan

Here's a real challange for all you Assembly programers, and even some of you BASIC programers: Make a working, AI and multiplayer compatable (same or different calcs), version of 'THE SETTLERS OF CATAN'. In case you all are like I was and kept in the dark for a while, find this game and play it. It will keep you occupied for HOURS, or about one math class. If anyone takes up this challenge, email me at e.david@arrington.com.

Is there the game Drug Wars for TI-89 anywhere? I've looked all over and am not finding anything. I don't care if it's basic or asm.
