When did you write your first calculator/computer program?

I wish I could say that about myself xD Haha, there's something about me and forgetting my calculator on test days.... =P Of course, playing calculator 24x7 gave me a mental graphing calculator so I don't need one on tests ;-)

I don't see how playing calculator games will give you a mental graphing calculator capable of anything except playing games.

Hey, that's something at least. Now if he's bored he should be able to just start a mental game of Mario.

Gah! I just lost mental Mario for the THIRD time in a row! I suck at mental Mario! Time to get my calc out...

Do you ever feel tempted to cheat on a mental game? You know, and extra life here, 1000 bonus points there...

Whenever I try to cheat mental Mario, it crashes and I have a headache for a few days. So no I don't think I am tempted to use cheats.

That's a pretty advanced brain, if it has built-in cheat protection...

It's not cheat protection. My brain doesn't expect the cheat, and cannot understand what happens during the cheat. So it just goes blank and gives me a very bad headache.

I have a permanent bulge in all of my pants' left pockets from my calculator fleet.

I use my right pocket until it becomes too loose and my calculator falls out. Then I switch pockets

I don't like having stuff in my pockets.

i forget my calculator a lot. then i borrow my friend's and clear all his memory. it's so funny to see him get mad at me....his face turns all red and he starts shouting at me. i'll take a picture next time

Same here, my 83+ is in my left pocket and my 86 is in my right...and my 85 is in my room.

ive got an 89ti & an 83 on a bandolier, and my 85 in my left pocket

It's only cool if you have a quick draw.

I wish I had a double holster, one for my 81, one mor my 89T, and in case I run out of ammo, I'll use my TI-30IIX Solar!

I wish I had pockets that deep...

I keep mine in my backpack...of course, they're usually both either in my hand, or on my desk, so my backpack is often calculator-less.
But then there's still my dad's 92, or his 82, which are almost always in the same place on the same shelf at home (unless I'm using them)....

I only buy pants that can hold a calc in each pocket. ;-)

ditto. my mom still hasn't caught on to the bulge in my pocket and by the time we are in the car its too late.

I remember those days. On one road trip I hacked up something to take the time in seconds between mileposts and output a speed.

if my pockets arent big enough for a calc i dont wear them.

I carry seven so I shove 3 calcs in the 2 side pockets and put my 82 in my backpack

Wow, 7...and I thought my 2 were a lot to carry around...

Wow. This is hilarious in a sad kind of way. I love my calcs as much as the next ticalc.org member, but I stopped carrying them in my pockets when I got a PDA. I guess I'm not a true nerd...

84+SE in my right pocket, a concept calc in my head.

Yeah... I've always got an 84+SE and an 83+ with me (I won't mention the 83+'s messed up screen and corrupted link port... it still works)
