I made a pi memorization program a year ago, and jrock updated it to make it better. :) Check the link

I have QBASIC one on my harddrive... but, it's on the other computer :(

And, if you get bored... go to http://www.joyofpi.com/pi.html

I made on for the 83+. (Link above.) I reworked it so it doesn't need the 83+ and not keep 'score', but I haven't uploaded it yet...

I did get about 50 digits once, but I'm never really good at memorizing it. Speaking of which, my school does a memoriation contest, winner gets an 83+SE. Some kid last year got about 400 digits.

3.1415926535897932384626433...Thats All I got.

I have realized that from using my mempi program I have memorized pi with not only the numbers, but also with the tone that those numbers would make on a telephone...strange...Hey! I wonder if there's a telephone number that's 1-415-926-5358, or even 314-1592

You have to dial 11 before international calls (except to Canada since then just dial 1 + area code).

You're right, except I think you accidentally hit a number twice as you were typing it. I'm fairly sure that 5359408112 should be 5359408128, so from there on, you were one digit off. It's probably just a typo. I do that a lot when I type pi (especially when I do it as fast as I can).

I always get confused around 150. I think last year, you had 13^2 and I had 12^2. :) The year before THAT, I had about 10^2. Weird how that works :-D

13^2..that's right! I remember that! that was pretty funny...ok, now you have to get at least 14^2 and I'll shoot for 15^2...

LOL! Wow... 3 million :) I would have to eventually go to something bigger than joyofpi.com for that!

If anybody was ambitious enough, going for 1337 digits would probably by the best.

The record for the highest number of digits memorized was set by a Chinese guy, who got around 2000 digits. With an accuracy level of around 99%.

Also, I'm going to try to get as many people as I can to yell "Happy Pi Day" in school at 1:59:26 on Pi Day.
