speaking of pi anyone ever see the movie pi it's black and white and is about a guy finding a trend in the stoke market and makes a deal with the mob to find pi it's sort of messed up

Yeah, it's by the same guy that made "Requiem for a Dream". Overall, it's pretty strange, nonetheless. However, some of you may wish to see it just to celebrate the holiday.

It's mentioned in last year's Pi Day news article (link above).

I memorized all 40 trillion calculated digits of pi. And then i wrote them down around the wall of my bedroom in glowing paint, so that pi glows all night, all 40 trillion digits i have...

It's funny you mention painting Pi in your room because about 10 mos ago my brother painted random stuff on the wall in our room, and I asked my mom if I could paint Pi, and she said I could, but I never actually got around to do it, and now I'm not allowed to anymore. Wow...that was quite a great run-on sentence. I'm pretty good at that. I count...four conjunctions, five if you count "because." hmmm....

Do it anyway, if she gets mad, you'll still have ð on your wall, or you'll get a new coat of paint. Either way you win, minus getting yelled at.

It should have worked, I pulled it out of the standard Verdana character map, but they must be using a different character set.

i guess not, it was a pi in the field where you type your comment, but not in the post.

Ð ð Here are some tries at pi, got them from character map, no alt commands for them. the first is capital greek pi, the second lower case.

Uh, we had a conversation about this sometime in the past. I think it was around the time when we used the blank or disappearing subject bars.

Yep. :) They now block the method that completely erases the subject bar.

So, what, you either have an ENORMOUS room (like the size of the solar system or larger) or you painted the digits REALLY SMALL (like the size of an electron).

I meant the survey. Earlier today for a very short time period the survey question "I lied on this survey" was asked. I voted "yes" at about noon, but when I got home from school the survey had changed to this one.

hence the "j/k" at the end of my post...that means "JUST KIDDING"

and I thought that meant "joking"!

I know you realized it, but I don't believe people below your post did.

That's what I was thinking... that was an awfully short-lived poll.
