I think the real question is, if we had two people guarding two doors and we knew that one of them always lied and the other one always told the truth, one of the doors would lead to certain death and the other one would lead to freedom, how do we decide which door to use?

They forgot the option "ERROR: Circular logic." Even if this poll isn't really circular logic, that is what happened in my mind when I attempted to process the meaning.
That's the option I would have chosen.

Simple: you cannot answer Yes. Answering yes creates a paradox, the result of which could cause a chain reaction that would unravel the very fabric of the space-time continuum and destroy the entire universe!
Granted that's a worst case scenario. The destruction might in fact be very localized, limited to merely our own galaxy.
