TI-83+ PROGRAMS CREATED BY JIM BECKNER

These programs were created by me to help me in both Geometry and Algebra II. I am releasing these programs to students who wish to use them. A list of these programs is below including Algebra, Geometry, and General programs. A list of study cards is also included. If there are any questions, comments, or complaints please email me at kg4ysy@arrl.net. For the terms of usage of these programs, click here. For instructions on using these files and uploading them, please click here. I have also included a list of applications I highly recommend for use on the TI-83+. I have found these applications to be very useful. I also have included some basic information on using your TI-83 Calculator.

BASIC INFORMATION WHEN USING THE TI-83 CALCULATOR

HYPRBOLA-Finds vertex, major/minor axis, etc when the variables of a hyperbola equation are known.

PARABOLA-Finds maximum/minimum, foci, etc when the variables of a parabolas equation are known.

PASCLTR-When editing this program, a list of the Pascal Triangle is listed.

PERINDEC-Finds the percent increase/decrease, original price, or new price depending on which variable is unknown.

POLYDIV-Completes synthetic and long division of polynomials.

QUADBACK-Finds quadratic equation when the two roots are known.

QUADFORM-Completes quadratic formula when A, B, and C are known.

QUADTEST-Tests answers found with answers to a quadratic. Useful for when your answer is in decimal and answer

on homework is in radical form.

SLOPE-Finds the slope between two points.
