  • Systeme requirement & installation:

    To launch the editor you must simply have a ti89, ti92+ or V200
    KTL editor works with all rom known (included 2.09) Kirby is based on the famous library genlib and this editor is supported by genlib. It's used a lot of memory, conseqently it is recommended to have a lot of memory (archive a maximum of file)
    It's obligatory to have this file to launch him:
  • ktledit.9xy
  • kgfx.9xy
  • ktile.9xy
  • genlib.89z
    It's not necessary to have the engine of the game (kirby.89x or kirby.9xz) to created a pack of level

      


    The Navigation in the editor:

    The navigation with the differnent control of the editor (edit,list,scrollbar) work with a focus system.
    The control wich have the focus can be altered by the user.
    To switch to another control, you must use the key right and left.
    When you map you can see 2 scrollbars.ths scrollbar can be visible only if you move the cursor.
      


    The menu:

    When you have launch the editor you can used 2 options:
  • New:
    This function allowed to create a map
    If you choice this function a new menu appears:
    Width:the with of the map.
    Height:the height of the map.
    Tile:the tile which you would like use
    There are only 4 different tiles to uses and you can't used them simultaneous
  • Load This function allow to load a map file.
    Cette fonction permet de charger un fichier map.
    Warning!:If you load a archived file you can only see it but not modified it.
      


    The keys:



    Action Ti89 Ti92 & V200
    Put a tile 2nd F1
    Delete a tile Diamond F2
    Put a exit with expert mode Home F3
    Choice a tile X F4
    Choice a monster Shift F5
    Delete a monster Alpha F6
    Saved the current map mode F7
    Choice a monster Y F8
    Put a enter F1 E
    Put a exit (which link with the next map) F2 S
    Delete a exit backspace backspace
    Switch with the next map(The current map will be saved) + +
    Switch with the previous map(The current map will be saved) - -
    Information for the map (used only for the expert mode) APPS APPS
    Note:
    You can specify only one enter and this is obligatory. If you don't specfiy them when you saved a map, a default enter will be saved with coordonate 0,0 of the map
    Thi is not obligatory to specifiy a exit

      


    Choice your monster:

    Whe you would like to choice a monster you obtain the menu:
    You can give the direction of the monster, the animation function and give a integer.
    This integer is often used for specify the deplcament zone.
    If this value is 0 the monster go in the infinite with that direction.
    You can edit a monster with the same key when the cusor is on the monster.
      


    The exit:

    The exit:

    The exit is used to pass the next level.
    In kirby's tiland, she can called with 2 method:
    -When you put the up button the exit is called (when kirby is superposed with the exit)
    -When you touch a exit object.It exist 1 object for that: the star. To used it,you must superposed the star with the exit

    The exit in expert mode:

    You can represent that like a html link. This option is used with many precaution for there is no vérification.
    If you point towards the map 12 whereas the file comprises that 10 map there will be a crash!!!!
    to know the infos has to return, you must udes the option information(APPS) which gives you the exact coordinate of the curseur.

    The number of the map is indicated in the title of the dialog box.
    the coordinate X corresponds of the coordinated in X of the curseur.
    the coordinate Y corresponds of the coordinated in Y of the curseur.
    the coordinate px corresponds of the coordinated in X of the plan.
    py is calculated by the engine.
    Note:
    it is completely possible to redirect ones come out towards a place but of very the map.
    Very good to define a link with the same map IT should be known that during a loading of a news map all is to reload even the potions for example. It is for that that the very first level of kirby has a redirection of this kind. If I had to redirect towards another map one could have obtained potions has the infinite one in Inn.
