The Texas Instruments graphing calculators, also called handhelds, can
store B&W images called 'pictures'. These pictures are saved as PIC variables
into the calculator.
These variables can be download from the calculator with a cable and a linking
program (such as TiLP). The file
you get contains an image you can display with this plugin.
PLEASE NOTE: you can not save pictures yet. Depending on
the calculator model, the size of the picture is not the same as well as the
encoding and the file type. I need an interactive dialog box I will add later...
When you create a new picture, your image must have one of the following
sizes:
- 96x63 : (TI73..83+),
- 128x63 : TI85/86
- 239x103 : TI89..V200.
The plug-in is not currently able to resize the image for the specified
target.
Simply select a file. The plugin will load the picture.
You have to specify a calculator model as target. Don't forget that pictures are 2-color images : the image will have number of colors decreased by The Gimp (indexing).
