Messing poeples calcs up is the best. Installing a password program works fine. If they don't know the password you enter, they can only get in the calc by taking out the batteries, whih in turn clears the RAM...

HI,

THe overall winner for BEST BEST BEST way to screw up someone's calculator is to remove their batteries when sending an operating system. It DELETES their existing operating system, and gives an error message until one is sent! It's GREAT for those people who bug you for games! Tell them you don't know what the hell the problem is, and go ask TI.

P.S. - Check out my website - I have a way to add MEMory also! Tell me what you think.

yes that would be really funny but the only people that I know that have 83+'s or 89's are my brother and his friend, and my brother doesn't want to play games on it and his friend knows how to put games on it.

also, you said you had like an expert programming brother. Who is this person you speak of?

Did you really make that website? Are you really only in fifth grade? Am I extremely gullable? Doesn't your site look great? Are you getting tired of me asking all these questions? Do you want me to stop? Why did someone just throw a flaming torch at my house? : )

I made a program that requires a password and it unarchives as many programs as it can (until not enough RAM is left), so if they take out the batteries, they lose those programs. Unfortunately, the person I put it on took out the batteries (and I have a new computer now, the old one got a virus or something)

For the most part, I FIX calcs. But one incidnet comes to mind...

Earlier this year, this kid asked me for games. She had OS verson like 1.07 or something so I gave her a rom upgrade. My calc link port was in such bad condition that the transfer kept failing.....
....Finally it did work though. That was the last time I ever gave any1 a ROM upgrade;)

I do not recall messing up any calculators. I now actually help students at my college with their calculator problems.

College dude: He wouldn't fix my calculator!!! I was playing games in class and the calculator froze! When I asked him to fix it, he said no!
Teacher: Now why didn't you fix his calculator?
Him: For goodness sakes! He was playing games during class!
Teacher: I didn't expect you all to pay attention anyways, weren't you paying attention when I said that?

I am not afraid of either. I know about certain calculators, and helping with problems on them is one of my ways on helping the students.

TEACHER'S PET! Did the teacher stroke you on the back? Was it a man? Do you have an earring on your right ear? Or are you too much of a wuss that it would hurt too much? I'm only 13, but I could beat the living (and dead) crap out of you. RANT!

That may be true, but that would in the long run have no good effect on relationships with people.

Not only in math class I help students with calculators, but also in my college's math support room. Also, no teacher did any physical or verbal harm. I do not wear any earings not beacause they would hurt, but becuase it is not in my beliefs to do so. Any physical attack for a minor difference in appearence is basically worthless.
