Wouldn't it be simpler just to write a CGI program that sinds out an e-mail? That if it comes back that that e-mail address simply be deactived from the account and the person who had the account must simply reopen it? Understand I am not saying writing the CGI code to do this is easier. How it is going to be done is an easier way, from the stand print of writing CGI code, I would think.

That does nothing to verify that the person owning the ticalc.org owns that email address. And there's more to it then that. Some accounts will autorespond with things like vaction responses. Those shouldn't be deactivated.

The main problem is that if you changed your email you can't do anything since there is no way to verify an old email. I changed the day of the new thing and i had to start a new account to get anything to work

I submitted about 2 weeks ago something & it STILL hasn't showed up! I don't give a flying TI-83 Plus SE about the AVS. Just get the file upload faster. Also I think there should also be a good reason for your program to be uploaded & a password for your file so you can edit it if you accidentally left something out or you found a bug or an important update. I am guessing the next ticalc.org CD is going to be a box set. I also think we need decent surveys & not c*** like "have you seen the CD in stores?" BFD. Oh and remember, no flaming, FLAMERS! lol.
