I know this is a little off the subject but I was wondering if it was true that the Ti community is slowing down a bit. Well at least for the Ti-86. Is that true?

Everyone's going to Ti-83, 89, or 92.
TI-85 (I used to use in school) is dead...almost

In my school TI-83/83 Plus is dominant. That's why so many programs are developed for 83.

I'm about about 12 out of 2181 that uses a TI-89
and 1 out of 2181 that uses a TI-85

I know what you both feel like, all I have is 2 TI-85's (ROM 9+10) and a TI-86 (ROM 1.6) but the school personally owns TI-82 (ROM 10.0 on ALL) that look like grey TI-85's and every student, besides me, owns a TI-83+. How 'bout that.

BTW: We even put games on all the schools calc's and locked the memory...don't ask how...

Well for my school that I have finished, the TI-83 is also dominent. I was the only one in the high school years to have a TI-86 because I'm sad so you don't have to post comments about it!

Yea, that guy has mad sk33lz. However, can someone remind him that the dollar sign comes before the number? I should revoke his 89 ownership for that.

The calculator community is dying. The operators of this site are realizing that they have better things to do than play with calculators.

I was serious...I mean, seriously, there haven't been any new programs since july 19, and there haven't been any new news items for quite some time as well. how long has this site gone in the past without haveing any programs or news items? This could really be the end...

Um... I dunno about that. Do things usually slow down during the summer when the normal pepoles' calculators are collecting dust. I know once school starts again (college this time) mine will be getting quite a workout.
