Dear saggitar710,

Your offer of sueing has been taken up by the Australian department of public prosecutions.

You will be required in the Sydney Magistrates court on the 29 of september this year to answer a charge of failing to remember a ticalc.org party. The minimum penelty if found guilty is a $A100 fine or a 12 month good behaviour bond. The maximum penalty is 12 years jail or $A15000000 fine per offence. In order to be found not guilty you have to prove:
a. You were present at the party
b. You were unable to attend because of a previous engagement, or
c. You recieved special permission from a court for failing to attend. Please bring any relevant documentation.

We hope for your co-operation in this matter.

Yours Faithfully

You probably tried to use an EFNet server that didn't exist anymore....

As for me, I couldn't get to sleep the previous night, wound up in bed at 5, so I didn't wake up until 12:30. Oh well :(

I voted "No, I forgot" but my actual answer not in the choices is "No, I didn't know it was going to happen"

Well, actually, wouldn't that fit in under "No, I had an other reason"? I mean, no matter what the reason for not going, there is an option.

The words "No, I had an other reason" implies that this other reason was carefully weighed against the party itself, and therefore, the selections are not mutually exclusive and do not contain the whole set of possible responses. If one did not know about the party, none of the selections wholly represents that answer.
