Hmmm, apparently extended ASCII characters don't work in these forums. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

I got my first calc (TI-83+) when I was 14. :) I went through many models (including 83+SE, 85, 89Ti, 89, 83) and now at 19 have a Voyage 200 and TI-84+SE. :D

You know, I'd be interested in a UID survey. Find out just how many older users still hang out and visit. Give ranges like 1-999, 1000-9999, 10000-29999, 30000 -> etc and see how many users we have from long ago versus newer. I always mouse over people's orange links when I visit to see how high up uids are getting now, the highest i've seen is 69000 or so (I'm 45591, and remember the day we hit 50000).

I thought I was the only one who did that... And yes, that would be an interesting survey.

Double Digits baby!
Yeah, I was a regular way way back in the day... before they even had User Accounts. When there was a major website called TI-Files. When Bill Nagel was king!

I think the resolution of this survey should have been increased. It would have been extremely interesting, from an academic perspective, to see an a true age-based histogram, without ranges, but with discrete values.

Do you need a TI-89 tester or a TI-89 Titanium tester, because I have Titanium and don't want it to crash.

That works

Titanium preferred, but I think the program in question will run easily on either.

Does this mean you're interested?

I think it is sad that the active (voting) population of ticalc almost halved in the past seven years.

Nota Bene: This in my first reply.
