is there a pattern to it? if there isn't i haven't spotted it. then again, it's really hard to plot a curve on only 3 4/1's.

There should be a 'most recent posts' box on the main page so people could post on old news pages and other people would be able to respond.

You can't post on pages that are older than a certain limit. I think the limit is three-four years.

Not true. They changed up the news system a looong time ago. Most old news articles you can actually post on.

Actually most you can't. Until a few months ago it was until 2000 or so, but then I moved the barrier further as some signs of abuse crept in.
