Okay new topic:
i went to staples and i bought ti-89 titanium, well it is great! however i found that 89t and 84+ have rough keyboard surfaces due to their new style. But what the heck! 3.5 MB of Rom!!! DAMN!!!! MORE games!!!
(by the way, i was second to post message on this survey!)

It has WAY more ROM memory, lots of good Apps, a built in clock with date, more RAM, the usb for extra fast data transfer, it looks cool, AND it still costs the same as a regular 89.

Changing your Titaniums OS to 2.05 instead of 3 lets you play more games? I thought it was a hardware issue...

They have it in Manual Guide CDs(i mean the ol' ones)
Or you can just go google and type Ti-89 Operating System
Then go to your Ti-Graph link=>LINK=>Send Flash Software...
=>Operating System

it's gonna take you at least 15 minutes to replace the whole OS

Now I own Ti-89 and Ti-89t both in OS 2.05
i think(I THINK!!!)
2.05 works the best because when i tried the newest version 2.09, damn i don't want the clock, i have seperate clock program anyway, the games don't work!
(hockey lost speed control, excitebike don't work, bunch other games do not run)
I tried 2.03, 2.04, and many other AMS they suck!
look at previous surveys! everybody's got 2.05!
And i know DAMN well why! they are game-addicted!
Oh flash-apps work fine for every 2.05 or higher
man it's good to have ti-89 regular cause i can like test everything makes me worry less about damages to my calc while i got the 89t

USB port
parker bush Account Info

It has to be the usb port. Endless amounts of new hardware can be invented that uses the usb port. Besides, it greatly decreases the amount of time it takes to transfer information to and from the computer.
When transferring half a meg of information to the old 89, you have to sit and wait forever, The usb port makes it much faster to transfer big games like ffa_en and duke68k. it also helps with utilities that take a long time to transfer, such as sound progrmas and picview movie clips. THe calculator also comes with a calc to calc usb link which helps when transferring large apps and the os.

How does the usb port work on it, i know my radioshack multimeter with a link port to the computer uses an infrared sender and transmitter to send data over. Strange huh? I just haven't really explored the 89Titanium very well. If it did have the crazy Infrared port, then it wouldn't supply power to anything.

wtf. I just loaded the page and it came up twice in one window. It looks normal but when I scrolled down the page repeated itself. I had two ticalc.org header thingies and everything. Oh well, I still like Firefox.

That happend to me twice way back in the horror days when I used IE. I haven't had it happen in Konqueror yet!

BTW, as of KDE 3.2, Konqueror supports Spellcheck in webforums! I love it!

Internet Explorer has never given me any problems. Except that one time, where everytime I used it, I got an svchost.exe error. But then I found out that that was just the Blaster Worm talking. It's amazing how easy it is to get rid of that thing.

Tennis is fun. Not worth 160 bucks though. If I were you, I'd beg your parents (assuming you're in school and living with our parents, to buy you a tennis raquet and a calculator. Yay! but then again, if you're fending for yourself... YOU should buy both. Mwuahahah.

Nah, my parents wouldn't but me another calc. Besides, the tennis raquet is almost as cool (see link).
