Agenda is an almost complete organizer application suite for TI calculators
which support synchronization with MS Outlook! You don't need a
PDA, if you have a TI92+ or V200 and install Agenda!
New in this version is the added month view in the day planer and
customizable shortcuts for any entry type.
An Italian translation has also been added.

If you already know Agenda, please read at least these few points to use Agenda as efficient as possible:
If you used Agenda V4.1 before, it is not necessery to convert the data file. Just update Agenda itself and continue enjoy it :) Use either the compressed version of Agenda or ttstart to launch the uncompressed one for best stability. See Installation section for more informations. There are now two views in Agenda itself: You can select between having only one week at a glance or a whole month! use the [+] and [-] key to toggle between these two views. There is now an Italian translated Agenda in the package. Thanks to Daniele Marangoni for his work! You can define shortcuts for each entry. It doesn't matter whether a date, an address, a note or a link: Just add a shortcut key (A-Z, F1-F8, 0-9) to any entry and then jump directly from anywhere to this entry by pressing the [ON] key and your shortcut key together. If you jump between the tasks (Agenda, Address Book, Notpad or Weblinks) by pressing F1 - F4 or with your shortcuts, the last position in the leaving task is saved, so on the next returning to this task, you are back on your last position. If there is a birhtday set, you can jump directly from Agenda to the appropriate person in the address book.

Agenda V4.2 runs on both calculators, TI92+ and Voyage 200. In minimum, AMS 2.00 is required. You have the choice between a compressed version of Agenda or an uncompressed (and each of them in three languages!). If you want to use the compressed one, just send the two files Agenda.9xz and Agenda.9xy to your calc. In this case, no launcher utility nor any Kernel is needed. If you take the compressed version, you need nothing more - just copy the too mentioned files to your calc and run it. If you would like to use the uncompressed version of Agenda, you have to use a launcher or patch, which breaks the 24kB code execution limit, which HW2 calcs have. (Your calc is HW2, if you try to run the uncompressed version of Agenda and an error "ASAP or Exec string too long" is displayed.) In this case, the best way to launch it anyway is to use ttstart (for more information about ttstart, see below), or a Kernel like KerNo by Greg Dietsche. You may archive Agenda on your calc to save RAM. The first time you start Agenda, it will create a file named agnddata. This file stores all the information generated by Agenda and is placed in the current directory. Note, that Agenda always searches agenddata in the current directory. Mostly, that's not automatically the case. So you have to make sure you set always the right folder as current folder! (See next point.) If agnddata can't be found in the current directory, a new one will be created there by Agenda. To start Agenda just by one hit, I recommend that you use the included kbdprgm1 or make yourself a kbdprgm. Just put agenda and agndpack in the folder AGENDA, and link kbdprgm1 to the main folder of your calc. Now you can easily start Agenda from home screen by pressing Diamond + 1. More information about kbdprgmX (where X is from 1 to 9) can be found in your TI-Calculator's manual. Information about ttstart (that's only important for you, if you use the uncompressed version): With ttstart, you can launch applications, which exceeds the 24kB size limit, like Agenda. Just run the command ttstart(programname) to launch the program. In this case, enter ttstart("agenda") (if agenda is in the current directory) to start Agenda. To speed up the starting, use the kbdprgm1-ttstart application, which automatically does this steps, if you press Diamond+1 in the home screen. Adjust the correct folders in kbdprgm1 on your calc that ttstart and agenda can be found!
[Top of Page]Update from an earlier version
If you update from Agenda V4.0 or earlier, you have to convert your data file agnddata. That's because Agenda V4.1 introduces some new features, which uses a new data file format. To perform this conversion, you have to use the tool agndconv, which is included in the program package.
Note, that you can't downgrade agnddata. Once converted, you have to use in minimum Agenda V4.1! If you have any troubles during the conversion, and it seems to you, that your agnddata won't be converted correctly, let me know that!
Please make a backup of your data file, before you convert it! So if the conversion fails, you won't lose your data!
In Agenda V4.2 Plus, the following features were added or have been changed:
There is now a second view in Agenda itself: The month view. You can toggle between the old week view and the new month view by pressing the [+] and [-] keys. An Italian version of Agenda is now available. Thanks to Daniele Marangoni, who translated all the text. You can define shortcuts for each type of entry. This shortcut can the be used from everywhere to directly jump to the wished entry data by pressing the key and your selected key together (First press [ON] and let it hold down, then press the defined key, and release both keys.) Last task positions are saved. E.g. if you leave Address Book in the opend folder "friends", this folder is again opened, if you return to Address Book. Rebuild of AgendaSync tool. It now recognices Office 2003.
In Agenda V4.1 Plus, the following features were added or have been changed:
New menu entry in Agenda: delete old entries New menu entry in Agenda: go to next entry New menu entry in Agenda: 'move to' to move a plan from one day to another There are now six date formats to display dates / read dates from keyboard The icon in Agenda is changed, which is displayed on a data row, if more than one line of text is written The public holidays, which are displayed in Agenda, are now customizable The group names and titles of address book, notepad and web links are no longer limited in their length AgendaSync - a PC tool to synchronize your plans, contacts, notes and links between Outlook (links between favorites of Windows)
In Agenda V4.0, the following features were added or have been changed:
The new task Web links is now available. All birthdays you entered in the address book appear automatically in agenda every year. You may enter more than one birthday in address book for one entry: E.g. if you enter one entry for two people with the same address you can enter both birthdays separated by a '/'. Agenda will recognize it anyway. A lot of public holidays are also displayed in Agenda. E.g. all Easter related days. The headline in the main view of Agenda is displayed now at the smallest font to print more text. If you use the password enabled, the password is now asked too, if you turned off the calc within Agenda and turn it back on. You can switch fast between the four tasks by pressing F1, F2, F3 and F4 from everywhere.

On the right hand side, you see the first text line you probably wrote to some days. The current day is the inversed line in the middle of the screen. In top of the screen is again the date of the current day, but more detailed.
If you use the month view, you see a whole month at a glance and a black bar in the field, if there is a plan at the specific day. This bar can have three patterns depending on whether there is a plan, a birthday or a public holiday at this date. You can use the following keys in the main display:

Before you can add an address, you have to add a group. The following keys are available: (Note, that the global keys aren't mentioned again!)

The field birthday has a special feature attached: If you enter a valid date, it will be entered in agenda on the appropriate day. You can enter more than one date separated with ';'. This makes sense, if you don't want to enter two entries for e.g. a married couple, but want to get both birthdays entered to agenda.
The following keys have the following meanings: (Note, that the global keys aren't mentioned again!)

[Top of Page]Agenda V4.2 Plus isn't complete yet. There are still a lot of features to add:
Implement the possibility to be reminded for some dates / birthday at program start. Will be available in next version. In the day editor of agenda it should be possible to set some options like add this entry every week, month or year. Implement subfolder concept in address book, notepad and web links. This feature has the lowest priority. Improve AgendaSync: Allow to load data back into Outlook. Improve AgendaSync: Integrate linking of data - so that it isn't necessery to use third party linking software.
