Information
This game is based on the 1994 dos game: Evasive Maneuvers. Many features of the original have been implemented but several features have not due to me not being able to write a fast enough routine for (background) and time. Anyone who wants the source can email me; however, its comments are not really up to date. When its fully commented I will consider releasing it with the binary form. The level editor has some keyboard problems I'm trying to find out how to resolve (i need to redirect interrupt 1 but when i do, it freezes--it worked when the level editor was a separate executable, can anyone help?) There's a black line on the 2000th x pixel of the level in the level editor, this is the point where the game loads the next level--this will be alterable in the future. Bouncing mines cannot be in the first 160 pixels of the game. Pausing causing some errors with bouncing mines.
Downloads
English & French 89:
- evasive.zip (prohosting)
- evasive.zip (freeservers)
Levels: Currently the only official level is the level included in the zip file. Anyone who wants to make some, go for it, just email me them so i can put them in the game. I'll be working on them while i can.
Other: If someone wants to convert the translate.h file to German? or Spanish? and email it to me I would be glad to...I would translate using babelfish but its translations are not very good.

Thanks goes to Thomas Nussbaumer (for the wonderful screen shift function, and for so many excellent programs) and to the people on my forum for translating to French.
